Burhanpur: A door-to-door voter verification campaign has started across the city under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process to ensure that every eligible voter’s details are accurate and up to date. All voters are required to fill out their enumeration forms and submit them to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) within the prescribed period. Officials have warned that failure to do so may result in the voter’s name being excluded from the electoral roll.

The officials reviewed voter verification activities in Ward Nos. 40 (Gurunanak Ward), 41 (Indira Colony), and 42 (Ruikar Ward). They gathered on-ground information from booth staff and interacted with residents to emphasize the importance of the SIR drive.

During the inspection, officials urged citizens to complete and submit their enumeration forms on time. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been assigned to visit each household, distribute the forms, and assist residents in filling them out correctly. Citizens were encouraged to cooperate fully to ensure their inclusion in the updated voter list.
