1. BLOs Honored for Outstanding SIR Work

Collector and District Election Officer Harsh Singh honored BLO Prafull Bawiskar and BLO Pankaj Mahajan with shields for their exceptional performance under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll. Their dedication, efficiency and results have set a benchmark for other BLOs in the district.

2. Rapid Progress in Special Intensive Revision (SIR)

The SIR process is moving quickly across the district under the Collector’s guidance. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting door-to-door outreach to ensure no eligible voter is excluded. Key tasks include distributing enumeration sheets, collecting completed forms, and digitizing voter data.

Current progress highlights:

  • Prafull Bawiskar (Village Sayer, AC-179 Nepanagar): 66.67% digitization completed.
  • Pankaj Mahajan (Village Loni, AC-180 Burhanpur): 55.76% digitization completed.

3. Achievements of BLO Prafull Bawiskar

BLO Prafull Bawiskar explained his methodical approach: he first gathered general information from enumeration papers and pre-filled key parts of the forms to save time during field visits. He personally assisted residents in filling the sheets, digitized the received forms promptly, and regularly toured the area to ensure every voter was contacted.

4. Achievements of BLO Pankaj Mahajan

BLO Pankaj Mahajan adopted a smart working strategy. He pre-prepared basic details for the counting sheets, ran awareness drives across his area, explained the importance and process of SIR to voters, and urged residents to keep required documents ready before the BLO’s visit—making the door-to-door process quicker and smoother.
