1. Introduction
Superintendent of Police Devendra Patidar emphasized strict night patrolling and action against illegal activities in a crime review meeting held at the police control room. The meeting focused on law enforcement, crime prevention, and preparations for upcoming festivals across the district.
2. Crime Review Meeting at Police Control Room
The Superintendent of Police chaired the crime review meeting with all gazetted and non-gazetted officers, police station heads, and outpost in-charges in attendance. The purpose was to evaluate the district’s law-and-order situation and issue new directives for effective policing.
3. SP’s Key Directives to Station In-Charges
SP Patidar instructed all station in-charges to take strict action against criminal elements, resolve public complaints promptly, and maintain law and order during festivals. He emphasized curbing illegal activities such as gambling, illegal liquor trade, and cattle smuggling.
He reminded officers to follow the guidance of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh by resolving public grievances legally and promptly, thereby creating trust between the police and the public.4. Strengthening Night Patrol and Preventive Measures
All stations were directed to increase night patrolling to prevent thefts and property crimes. SP Patidar instructed officers to identify theft-prone areas and create surveillance hotspots. Preventive action should be taken against habitual offenders to maintain public safety.
5. Special Focus on Missing Persons and Cyber Fraud
Under Operation Muskaan, police officers were ordered to locate and recover missing minor boys and girls. The Superintendent also directed that cyber fraud cases be treated as a top priority, ensuring immediate investigation and necessary action.
6. Law and Order During Festivals
Officers were instructed to work with the Peace Committee and the City Security Committee to ensure peaceful celebrations during upcoming festivals. The SP emphasized taking strong action against hooligans and anti-social elements during this period.
7. Social Media Monitoring and Vigilance
The SP directed officers to maintain vigilance on social media, keeping an eye on rumors, inflammatory content, and anti-traditional posts. Strict monitoring was advised for illegal cattle transport and similar unlawful activities.
Officers were also instructed to expedite investigations under the Prevention of Atrocities Act, complete related documents, and resolve pending cases quickly. Regular checks on monitored criminals and those banned from the district were also emphasized.
8. Officials Present in the Meeting
The meeting was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police Antarsingh Kanesh, City Superintendent of Police Gaurav Patil, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Women Crime Branch) Pritam Singh Thakur, SDOP Nepanagar Nirbhay Singh Alava, Subedar Nagendra Thakur, and all police station/outpost in-charges of the district, along with the branch in-charges from the SP Office.
